Program Funding Changes

With the conclusion of PEPSA's grant funding on September 1, 2025, we want to take a moment to reflect on our 26-year history. It has been our privilege to partner with CARD to support educators of students with autism across the state. We are incredibly thankful to have had the opportunity to provide professional learning resources that made a lasting impact in classrooms and communities.

The cessation of our funding will discontinue our fiscal and programmatic support of several key initiatives, on which many of you have come to rely, including:

1. The Partnership Program: a highly competitive, rigorous, and impactful mentoring program focusing on classroom research to improve outcomes for students with autism.
2. Statewide Autism Summer Institutes: cornerstone events for educators, related service professional, and self-advocates across our catchment area and beyond.
3. Regional Training Professional Learning Courses: our training courses provided through the regional CARD centers for educators, service providers, families, and self-advocates.

As we close this chapter, we are confident that you will find continued support and resources through the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) sites across Florida. For years, we have worked alongside CARD to build a strong network for educators, professionals, and families. We encourage you to reach out to your regional CARD site to continue receiving the high-quality support you have come to expect. They are an excellent resource for staying connected to the community and accessing new opportunities.
