Bio:

Paula was born and raised in Brooklyn N.Y and graduated from Brooklyn College with a B.S in Accounting. After relocating to Florida, she received her subject area certifications in ESE K-12, Math 5-9 and Business Education. She is in her tenth year at Lyons Creek Middle School in Broward County and is currently an ESE support facilitator for the 7th grade. During her first two years, she organized and ran the Alternative to External Suspension center for ESE kids, covering three elementary, two middle, and one high school in Coconut Creek. Then she chose to be the ESE support teacher for the pilot "Bridge Team" program for several years. This program consisted of a team of teachers that taught three grade levels of smaller classes of struggling ESE students. Throughout the years she also taught VE math, provided support for all grade levels, created reward programs and was involved in various school projects and fundraisers for Autism at her school.
