Brenda Edmond-Drain is from Gainesville Florida. She received her education from the University of Florida with her Bachelors in Communication Sciences and Disorders and her Masters in Special Education with an Autism Endorsement. She continues her education with workshops and webinars for Deaf Education and Sign Language.

Brenda has worked with special needs students from 3 years old to 5th grade. Her special interest is communication disorder and particularly loves working with the pre-k age since it is a great opportunity to lay a strong educational and communication foundation. She is looking forward to the CARD partnership, as it is her goal to continue to fine line her skills and stay exposed to the latest research that can improve her instruction to her students.

PEPSA Partner: Proposed Project (2012)

Project Description:

Scheduling and Data Collection. This project will be focusing on classroom navigation and data collection. She and her team will be looking at picture supports and scheduling to help facilitate smooth transitions and opportunities to efficiently collect classroom data in the busy pre-k environment.
