Amy Salamon is an ESE teacher in Broward County Schools. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education from Florida Atlantic University. Amy has taught students with autism spectrum disorder for 16 years and is currently working in the area of transition. The students in her classroom work on employability skills, daily living skills as well as social communication skills.

Proposed Project:

This project will address the area of employment for students in the transition process. They will create representational portfolios for students who are aging out of the school system this year or next year. They anticipate completing 2-3 portfolios as well as working with one student on customized employment process.
