Angelo Martinez, Duval County

Angelo Martinez is a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) and is a member of the Florida Association of Behavior Analysis. He is currently the Executive for The Jericho School, a private school for children with developmental disabilities. Angelo graduated from Iowa State University and has been working in the field of behavior analysis for over 15 years. For the past 10 years he has specialized in ABA therapy and verbal behavior. He has consulted for a number of public and private schools. He has provided a great deal of trainings and workshops for teachers, parents and community members in behavior analysis, acquisition of language skills and working with children with special needs. Angelo has also consulted privately for a number of families and schools working with children with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Proposed Project:

“ASD Adolescent Life Skills Program”

TThe objective of this project is to develop a more comprehensive set of goals for students who are approaching the age of 18. There will be a focus on goals such as but not limited to: Independent Functioning, Vocational Skills, Survival Skills, Community Awareness, Health, and Life Skills.
