Kendra Kottman, Leon County
Canopy Oaks Elementary School
CARD Staff: Teri Merlau

Kendra Kottman often thought of teaching when she was younger; however, it wasn’t until she volunteered in her children’s classrooms that she decided to act on her dream. Kendra went on to graduate from Flagler College in 2005 with a B.A. in Elementary Education/Exceptional Student Education. Today she is an ESE teacher at Canopy Oaks Elementary School in Tallahassee, Florida and has six years of experience teaching. She has spent five of those years in a primary V.E. classroom.
