Carrietta L. Gaudio, MSEd has been working in the field of autism for 11 years. She has been the autism coach at Sawgrass Elementary in Sunrise, FL for the past five years. She oversees both self-contained and mainstream classrooms providing educational services for students with autism. Prior to moving to south Florida, Mrs. Gaudio worked in both private and non-profit schools in New York and Boston as a classroom teacher for students in kindergarten through twelfth grade with autism spectrum disorders. She obtained her master’s degree in severe disabilities at Simmons College in Boston, MA. Mrs. Gaudio is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in special education at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL and working on the completion of her BCBA certification. Her dissertation focuses on the use of video modeling interventions to increase play skills in children with autism.
