Jami Crumley is an ESE Teacher of students with autism at Crews Lake Middle School in Pasco County, a role she have held since she started her teaching career in 2008. She is am certified in Exceptional Student Education, Middle Grades Integrated Curriculum, and Elementary Education K-6 and endorsed in English Speaking Other Languages and Autism. She has an A.A and B.A. in Exceptional Student Education from St. Petersburg College and she is currently pursuing a Master of Exceptional Student Education from Nova Southeastern University.

Proposed Project:

The teacher will incorporate communication into each academic group through an "Academic PECS Book" for reading, math, social studies and science. Verbal students will be encouraged to answer questions using full sentences verbally, using pictures and words on a sentence strip and nonverbal students will answer questions in full sentences using pictures.
